I have a friend who was freaking out about MGSV when the news broke; he was like "what does this mean for the game?!" and I said, "based on reports, they might take his name off the box when it ships".

Came to post almost this exact thing, word-for-word. MGSV is mostly complete and his vision is there in concrete at this point. Silent Hills has a long way to go and if one half of the creative team drops off, then part of the magic could vanish.
