Here's more info regarding the Third-Party DRM, all I could say is Sony FTW!

Nope, sorry for crushing your dreams but Sony didn't confirm it has the same game policy as Xbox One, it has the same game policy with the current gen Ps3/Xbox360.

People just gravitate toward extremes. If something is bad, they call it the worst thing that they've ever seen. If something is good, they praise it as a triumph worthy of songs and poems. Because most people don't know moderation.

Sorry people, Microsoft's presentation was not a 1, nor was Sony's a 10.

Look, more trolls! Quick, take a picture! :D

The issue is not everyone is on the digital band wagon.

Well maybe we are looking at this differently. I have been gaming since 1986. I have owned tons of games and consoles. I regularly go over to friends houses to game, both single player and multiplayer. I have discovered tons of new games by friends leaving their games at my house to borrow for the weekend. These

It's smart. Let game publishers be responsible for their own business instead of taking on all that blame. Unfortunately, I see a lot of people in the comments (as with any ignorant comments section really) who would rather blame Sony for things that are beyond their control. Anyone looking for Sony's true stance

lol, look at everyone freak out.

The market will dictate what publishers do. If there is enough anti consumerism backlash then a publisher may not think its in their best interest to go with restricting used sales, lending, renting etc.

Lets compare..

You'll still need a code from a participating retailer. And fuck game companies wanting to tell me if I can sell their physical copy that they sold to me. I bought it, I own it, and I just paid twenty bucks for your DLC. The proper response should be 'thank you, enjoy your stay and let us know if your experience can

In other words if they want to add an online pass or make online requirements they can. So like last generation?

Still shocked a day after the Sony Press Conference,

The ball is now on our court , let's show Nintendo and Sony that they made the right decision on supporting us consumers and forgoing unfriendly practices. I know we'll miss great games (sorry Halo and Forza) and I know it's a bitter pill to swallow but like all medicines it's all for good. Think before you purchase

If we're perfectly honest, there's only one true winner of this console generation.

I think it was quite well summed up by Jack Tretton just now on the live Gametrailers stream. Our mantra, at Sony, is this: "Choice for consumers, not shoving it down their throat"

Thats just how it is sometimes.

Sony was on the ball last night. They studied how we reacted to the X1 reveal, and told us exactly what we wanted to hear. All those applause breaks during Tretton's speech...not like the canned applause of MS's keynote.
