I think at the very least, Nintendo of America should allow the game to be streamed and then donate a matching amount to the charity in question.

Nintendo, what are you doing? Has someone fired a Mattick Cannon at your headquarters, giving you Xbox One-reveal levels of ideas?

Oh yeah, the Saturn not only had a fantastic D-pad, but 6 buttons as well as two triggers. For games like the Street Fighter series, where you have Weak, Medium and Strong Punches/Kicks, a 360 Pad just doesn't cut it, seeing as it puts Strong Punch/Kick on RB and RT.

They should have someone teach hardware companies how to make good D-pads while they're at it. They could name it the Yokoi Advisory Committee.

At first I had some friends along for the ride that helped keep it interesting, but as they dropped off the game lost lustre. I'd pop in to run some missions, set my skills to be trained and maybe do some mining, collected Minmatar ships (and fell in love with the Rifter) and in the end I just couldn't be bothered to

Cate Archer, we salute you! o7

I played for almost a year, and just couldn't get into it, but I love reading about the spymasters, the corp wars, those sorts of things.

EVE Online - Often more fun to read about than to actually play.

I've not been able to get my hands on a copy.

I wouldn't call myself a fan, I stopped reading it years ago. It was only after posting I noticed that the reference in question was to do with the costumes in the last panel. The strip format, 'Nani Naze Megatokyo' IIRC, is a parody of a part of the show Martian Successor Nadesico, hence the confusion on my part.

I'd say they are, yeah, but I'm a fan of the group so... bias may crop up there.

Yeah, I've got Tokyo Classic, Masterpiece, and Time to Go, and I've been looking to pick up the rest. They and The Mad Capsule Markets are my favourite Japanese groups.

I have, but that still doesn't mean I'm going to eat sashimi in the UK.

Oh, wait, the headsets! I was thinking of the format.

I always thought it was a Martian Successor Nadesico reference.

There are not many things that can surprise me on the internet.

I'm leery of raw fish and meat in general, give me some tempura and edamame any day. (For me, edamame share the same properties as pistachios in being so delicious its hard to stop devouring.)

Only Silver Spoon and Servant x Service caught my eye.

Now playing

Here's two from Japanese music group Rip Slyme. One for Jack Daniels:

The free one is definitely worth a play, had a lot of fun with that in the past!
