“What’s the worst that can happen?”

I made fun of this recall when I first heard of it...said it was a recall for dumb people. I have a 2015 SRT. I jumped in the car the other day with my gf, forgot something in the house, tossed it in “park” jumped out and ran back in the house, came back and jumped in the front seat and felt the car move a little.

I believe that this IS the correct answer. Well-done!

The Mercedes R107 SL’s get my vote. Classic styling, reliable power, two top options and a price that is completely obtainable. There’s also a large aftermarket for pretty much everything on the car.

People are saying the Pagoda SL’s are obtainable, only if you have 60-100k laying around, the R107's are starting back

Now playing

I say with an entirely straight face, the 600SL. After watching Harry’s Garage review of his “beater” 600, I’m sold. I wouldn’t even assume I needed Harry’s personal wealth.

You buy a W113.

It’s not cute, it’s not plucky, you never have to make an excuse for it.

It’s not a knife edge razor, the steering is not ultra crisp but that’s what you want. You want a comfortable GT like car you OR your wife can and in fact does drive.

you can see the Flying Elbow Cop thinking “THIS IS IT! THE MOMENT I’VE TRAINED MY WHOLE CAREER FOR! THE PEOPLES ELBOW!!!!”

Lots of Canadians in Florida.

Only if you get your dealer to lie a little for ya.

Hah! I appreciate that. I’m glad I found someone else who appreciates that joke like I do, because I thought it was hilarious and my friends didn’t get it.

Best piece you’ve written in a while

They didn’t forget to get the tires really. As conditions changed they were reevaluating and changing what tires they wanted to put on after the pit. My guess is that they had ultras out but in reaction to Lewis and his outlap (which was not great) they decided to go for something a harder and single stop it (surely

Placido Domingo is an international opera star of the highest order. I’m sure his English is impeccable. His F1 bona fides, though, probably not so much.

Kidding aside, this was the exact sequence of my first ride on a motorcycle. Went head on into a fence and I thought my best friend was going to die from laughter.

“I can’t swim! I can’t swim!”

That’s true, there are drawbacks for sure. I’m just saying that Tesla is still a boutique brand that sells to people who actively want to own a Tesla, not to the mass market.

Sure of course, I get that. Doesn’t mean I need/want to hand them a hundred grand of my own money for a car that feels like it should cost half that. Especially when I can drive literally one of the best cars ever made for the same price.
