The run-flats that came with my 2013 MINI lasted less than 23,000 miles. And I had to get one replaced in the first month of ownership after it picked up a chunk of metal and of course the dealer would not repair the damaged tire. Now I run non-run-flats.
AAA service is great. I sign up for the 100 mile + motorcycle service and have them tow my crap all over creation for far less than I’d pay otherwise.
I won’t touch my inflator kit, use that stuff and most tire shops won’t repair the flat, have to buy a whole new tire. Mind you, the last flat I got was from a massive chunk of scrap metal.
