If only the film had even the slightest hint of the subtle beauty and cleverness of this poster. I’ve always loved this one.

Considering how much emphasis Han Solo seems to be getting in this movie, and the famous reason as to why he was frozen in Carbonite in Empire Strikes Back, I’d be surprised at this point if Han Solo doesn’t die in this movie and that’s the only reason Harrison Ford agreed to come back.

You’ve got it all wrong. This is a George Lucas approved change to the original. He realized that Vader, powerful as he was in the force, never would have failed to recognize his own daughter from two feet away. Or at least recognized her as force sensitive. So he had to change which character Vader was confronting

I was going to remark on the flatline US production and the simple fact that there isn’t any more farm land in the US but then I read the line “It’s actually mostly being eaten by animals” so of course my ADD brain made me post this.
