C'mon Porsche, chop two doors and a foot or so off, you'd have a stunner of a 928 successor.

As a big fan of Alex Roy, I gotta give this dude props, he comes off as a legit interesting person and not a douche.

Also, sombody needs to do this record in an American car. Fer serious. In fact, there should be a Jalop article about what AMERICAN car should be the main candidate? I know people have thrown out other

Amazing feat. But even this record is made to be broken. And now anyone who wants to attempt it has a pretty good idea for a baseline of prep. Fundraising time. Anyone want to start a kickstarter?

I have solved the mystery. It was Bob Lutz, in the Boardroom, with the Aztek, G6, and Torrent. That's how Pontiac was murdered.

That is their greatest work to date.

Holy shit this SPOT ON HST type dialog, I love it.

As a car enthusiast, I would OWN an autonomous vehicle as a second (well, technically 4th) car. I love the thrill of driving on the road, even to work or the store, but I hate long, boring car rides that last more than 2 hours at constant speed. I could better use my time, even catch some sleep while my car drives

I would love if they all kept right if possible on the highways.

I, for one, look forward to these cars because it means less dangerous senior citizens behind the wheel going 10 under in the fast lane.

Mad respect to those ladies bravely standing up against the Saudi state's patriarchal repression. Things are changing there, ever so slowly, with their allowing women to participate in the upcoming Olympics as another small step forward.

BMW has been building the exact same car for 51 years and everyone seems surprised about it.

"These may have been boom times for American fitness, but they were bad ones for American breasts."

Wasn't the original the track from Pole Position?

Tilke has some flaws, but honestly COTA is a great track Parker. While you may not have "studied it" prior to describing it consider what the drivers have said about it. The track (due in large part to natural elevation) is epic.

Tom Cruise is exactly the WRONG star for a film like this. Its one thing to become Ethan Hunt in the M:I movies, but in something like this Tom Cruise needs to DISAPPEAR ENTIRELY......so we can SEE Carroll Shelby. And I'm not sure he can do it.

Is it bad that I think this looks way more fun than Gymkhana? Also, Fiesta front and sides, but Subie rear. Wonder if that was on purpose.

67 hp though...that's worrying from a turbo 660cc. With a CVT they ought to be able to tune it for power high in the rev range and use the CVT will keep it in the sweet spot. A turbo 600cc bike can make about 185 on pump. I don't see much point in making this thing economical, almost no one would use it as a primary

I believe you'll find it's called a congress of asshats

We choose to go to go faster than the speed of light and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard.
