All we ask for in return is "No disintegrations."

I will leave this right here: the comic book X-Men team fly a Shi'ar modified Blackbird that can travel in space, not a Quinjet. However, the cinematic X-Men team fly a CIA modified Blackbird.

I guess there's no chance of someone taking an arrow to the knee?

It's possible, but those Roman statues were painted at one time.

Chill my brothers and sisters. Friday is the day after tomorrow. Enjoy your day! Cheers!

Not a stupid question. The human body is actually a wonderful thing with the help of modern medicine keeping the injury from getting infected and taking his entire foot. Australia has a lot of experience with this sort of thing and he is likely getting the best of care. What seems to have happened is an infection. The

Fellow Time-Warner Traveller here too. I've been put off by the entry cost (as opposed to long-term cost). At what price point did you decide it was "worth it" or was that more an intuitive/fed up damnit moment for you?

That was an awfully generous gift of TiVo!

Yes, the rise of Indie/self-published RPGs online has multiplied the power of creative individual gamers. I wish I had the time/patience to know them, but as you know learning a new system is a vast time-vac and with fewer occasions to game, feels strangely empty. Well said! +1

I am totally OK for more Gorn. I don't care if it's some poor stuntman sweating in a suit or one of these meth'd out, pantsless raptors.

I am not a fan of straw either. Would you prefer one made of brick? ;-)

I've got a bad feeling about this.

Don't remind me. This and the GL Animated series are the best superhero shows on now. Time Warner (who owns DC and the CN) is terrible. Were it not for Paul Dini's track record in BTAS, Justice League, etc. they would have even less to show for it. I hate studio execs.

What? That was a terrific second season.

I was always under the impression that there is (hand waving) a force field that keeps the laser from dissipating and accounts for half or more of a light saber's energy usage (so that it isn't infinitely powerful and burns out whatever is its power source).

In space, Astronauts win. In a cave, Cavemen win.
