How much cheaper would the car be if they offered it without the Reserve Gas motor in the vehicle? Making it a hybrid of that nature may not have made a difference about most American's range anxiety, while boosting it over the price of other EVs.
Good, Now can we PLEASE change bumble bee back to a VW?
Ok cool! thanks for the clarification. I was under the impression that the Panther Platform had more of a rear air assist, similar to variable rate shock, or like a load leveler (Helper) system some folks install in their F250 if they often carry heavy loads.
Ok so it's got traditional gas shocks, but uses these to replace the springs?
I'm under the impression that the rear is a variable air shock, but with a standard spring or leafs, and that the weight is held up by the spring. Please I am curious to know If that's correct or not on the panther.
It still should have been immediately apparent to the driver that something was wrong in the rear end, and even without the shocks functioning, the car would have been held up by the springs, more than enough to keep the tank off the ground.
No, you really don't...
The air shocks being out would have made the car impossible to drive. Had the air shocks gone, the driver would have pulled over, long before enough damage could be cause by the roadway to puncture and ignite the gas tank. I'm a huge fan of Air suspension, and when I roll with my rears at 0 psi (without a doubt lower…
Yeah, looks like it could have used a stiffer rear suspension setup for the tarmac portions of the course.
As much as I love Audi's team, That was a bad pass, and the resulting wreck was avoidable...
Watch for a rise in KDM. Korean Domestic Market. We're starting to see very well built Genesis and Forte in the metro Atlanta area...
No comment of Alec Baldwin's love for Words with Friends... I can only imagine it exactly how NBC would have written it.
Here's the best part: Psota told authorities he got the idea from the film The Life of Pi, which is about a boy stranded on a lifeboat with a tiger. (No tiger appears to be involved in this caper, which is probably a good thing.) Except that didn't involve a homemade raft built to dodge immigration authorities, who…
