See also William Gibson's Nerumancer, Ernest Cline's Ready Player One, etc. The concept of a self contained mini-coffin is not new

I use almost the exact same mechanic for my Sunbeam "Hot tea maker". Acts like a drip coffee machine and I get up early enough to put ~50 oz (2 cycles) through the machine using good quality leaves for 2 steaps and dump the entire batch into a thermal carafe to drink at work.

Holy Dinosaur Droppings... That museum's just up the road. I can't think how many times I went up there as a kid to see the interior exhibits and walk the exterior wildlife paths.

Yeah... Still haven't applied the previous update because I love my jailbreak and I'm not having that many problems with the version I got.

1. Get in, deliver the content you need to share, get out.

Plex w/ a Roku device. Allows me to set up my entire media collection (2 external hard drives) in a categorized and organized maner

+1 For Truth. The new Plex channel for Roku release fixed a lot of problems

@devinise @spcagigas Personally I hate MicroCenter with the fury of a thousand suns. Unless you come in with exact sku codes you want, knowing that they have the item in stock, and the employees don't "Misplace" your pick, and there is more than one register open with a line that wraps around half the store, and

I've purchased iDevices at a few different stores. At the Apple store they take the device out, make sure your ready to roll (iTunes activation, Web check, etc.) At the big box retailers you have to go home to start using it.

If you're dead set against the Apple Store (which is IMO the best place to get one) There's Target/Wal-Mart/Frys/Best Buy

Hrm... Gawker forcing me to bind my Gawker identity with other services. I think this is the final straw in my desire to comment here. Thoughts?

First thing I do when I get home to the apartment is I open a window in the bedroom and one in the main living area. I close doors through the rest of the apartment and start a fan at the main living area blowing outward to "pull" fresher air through the apartment. Has the primary benefit of cooling the bedroom and

Meh... Battery life is good enough right now on my JBed 4S

I knew those legs looked familiar. They were featured in the IKEA hack for a monitor stand on January 1st ([lifehacker.com] ). they come in 4", 6", and 8" lengths. FYI, the interior threads do not go all the way down, so you can't saw part of the leg down and assemble.

Actually, if they get enough complaints repeatedly against a store, the credit card network can revoke the terminal and then they get 0% of the business on that type.

Hey LH, I know you like supporting sites, but if the content is on more than 3 pages, can we get a link that goes directly to the "Print" version? I'm all about supporting companies that want to make money, but splitting a ~3 printed page story over 10 "Click Next"s is a quick way for me to consider other sites for

A journey of the star begins with a single insightful comment. The stars are awarded by the Gawker employees. Keep being insightful

As others have said. Insightful comments or help gets starring. Being overly snarky or unhelpful in threads (or topics outside of openthread) gets your star revoked.

Or you can elect to not get "Verified", remain behind a pseudonym, publicly assert the pseudonym across multiple sites and people "verify" the authenticity of the pseudonym the manual way.

Imzadi (The First) for great win!
