The thing that pisses me off about WD is where the hell can I find a guy who does a complete wheel refinish for $70 a wheel, or a guy that will replace all the wood on your Morris Traveler for a handshake and a cuppa???

Came here to post exactly that. It’s not exactly a timeless design, is it? Way too “soapbar”, which was in vogue at the time but hasn’t aged well for anyone.

They’re actually building a 5-mile test track now.

Usually just the Red Line

Minor attachment?

Yup, two DMEs.

$9K is the cover charge. It’s a great car if you can handle the cost of keeping it on the road, but there’s a reason BMW mechanics loathe this car.

Duh.

Really horrible news:

60/70’s Alfa GTVs. When I hit the lottery, I’ll have a track rat AND a show car.

Motorized narcolepsy.

Nope, Washington College.

A friend of mine in college had a surplus USPS DJ5. The word “deathtrap” doesn’t even begin to cover it.

First mistake was making it look like a slightly larger Passat. Second mistake was putting a VW badge on it.

Those portly older Iron Butt guys (myself included) know a thing or two.
