I've played this game since that first article almost a year and a half ago, and I've never seen a resemblance to Metal Slug, coming from someone who has also completed about 3 or 4 Metal Slug games. Metal Slug has a very cautious playstyle that you have to balance with the chaos around you, kind of like a 1942 style…

What the hell is the Ikea like where you live? The one's I've been to are mostly just families wandering around, sitting on couches, laughing and talking to each other while buying copious amount of tealights.
I'll say this: It's tiny.

That's why No Man's Sky is going to be LEGIT.
