That’s true to an extent, but I think the height of that was Nintendo and Sega sniping at each other back in the 90s. The companies themselves have been leaning on the whole “console war” thing less and less as time has gone on.

That conversation, while cringeworthy and tremendously unprofessional, is not really the kind of thing that should cause a scandal.

I think I’m too old to read texts, that conversation was difficult to follow. 

My issue isn’t with an increased amount of POC representation in voice acting (more representation in the industry can only be a good thing), but the way these companies have gone about doing it.

lets just put it this way. a good voice actor can voice five completely different characters on the same show because that’s their skill. these characters are all different ages and ethnicity and they’re all voiced by a single person. it doesn’t matter if the voice actor is famous or not, it still costs alot more to…
