Having worked extensively both in the US and in Europe, I don’t think most Americans have a realization of the differences between US and European style unions.

Its a terrible idea to allow the prosecutors to taint jury pools by having open grand juries. The burden of proof for grand juries to be called is very low compared to criminal trials.

I work for a Japanese company. I used to have to provide my blood type to the home office when I would do work in Japan. This because the Japanese traditionally believe that your blood type gives you a certain personality and work trait.

The Nazis never won a popular vote in Germany. This is one of those things that gets ignored by people. The 1932 election made them the largest party in the Reichstag but they did not have a majority. They got less than 19% of the vote.

When I came to the US, I was under visa lottery (my mother won it). Until i got my citizenship in the US military, I was terrified of fucking up in any way and getting deported.

Try working for a Japanese company. For the longest time if I was replacing a medium voltage motor in the US, I must make sure I was near 7-11 because it was only place I could find fax machine to send documents back.

I was enlisted from 2000 to 2006. Your description of the military justice system in the military is highly romanticized.

There are many rights that a US military member signs away. Off the top of my head the 5th amendment is the one most people who fuck up in town run into.
