Have you heard of Nucor? It is US based steel mill company that develop mini-mill style. Very professional. No union, but pay is tied to production. So if there is safety shutdown, everyone from CEO down takes cut. So safety is high priority.

I know this is difficult for Americans to realize...but worker rights and unions are different in other countries compared to US.

As someone that left their home country as a teenager, as a refugee, to come to the US, I would not underplay the difficulty it is for young people, even very smart and talented young people, to leave their home community.
