I’m not saying people have the option to go into therapy...like you HAVE to...just to be clear on my benevolent-ish dictatorship.
If I was emperor of the US my first two acts would be thus....
WELL I GUESS THE “S” IN SEC MEANS “GODDAMN SISSY” NOW!!!
True....but teams holding onto Mark Sanchez doesn’t seem to make internet folks rage as much as Tebow.
More playoff wins than Marvin Lewis....
But the weird thing is...Tebow does have a playoff wining game in which he made the throw.
My old man had the same neck surgery as Peyton. I cannot fathom how he is able to function as an athlete other than he had it done overseas to get stem cells injected directly into his spinal column.
My father was pissed that the Ravens lost him as offensive coordinator. I still have yet to get a coherent explanation from my father as to what exactly during his Raven’s tenure, made Kubiak so vital.
My family stayed there once when I was really young. To this day we talk about just how fucking insanely bad that place was.
Add in some stories of the Red Sox, expensive beer, and coffee, and I just read a Peter King column.
I still listen to them from time to time. Their fake Jerry call in bits are fucking brilliant.
I actually live next to a comic book store. I used to be a comic book nut, collecting them my entire childhood. I had pretty decent collection until a bad flood took out my storage unit while I was in the military and it was wash (seriously...insurance companies can eat a dick).
Even the Packers cut the serial killer before hooker bodies started piling up.
Nestor is still running things from the Bunker (read that as his mother’s basement). My brother moved to Fort Worth Texas for a while. We never realized until he got there that the local Dallas sports station “The Ticket” has like an unofficial Superbowl tradition to piss off Nestor into getting him to either strike…
I still cannot fathom how Carolina and Jacksonville got expansion teams over Baltimore. The whole mess of the Browns moving to Baltimore would have never had happened if they didn’t shove two expansion teams into localities that don’t support NFL teams.
My understanding...and again, this is second hand, was that to lower the extreme noise in the torpedo room, the ship kept their hatches from compartment to compartment open so that the noise would dissipate easier. So when the torpedo room exploded, the flooding was rapid because everything was still open up.
Supposedly, it was/is unofficial practice to keep the compartments throughout the subs using those torpedoes open due to the large amount of noise it generated during launch, meaning that in a catastrophic failure, the crew had almost no chance for meaningful damage control.
Just please tell me that the policy of when a kid gets hurt, the equipment manager still is the one to break the news to the kid in the hospital that he needs to clean out his locker and his scholarship is not being renewed.
Nope. I was at a Holiday Inn about 10 minutes from Great Lakes Steel Works. Where exactly that fell, I am not sure.
