Sorry but for an announcement this big Sony or Microsoft wouldn’t have hired a translator right out of school. This was a joke. Did they rehearse the presentation beforehand? There should have been a script. This really killed a lot of the excitement factor.  

One of the translators was bad. The other one was fine.

Possibly because there are tons of differences between Kimba, The White Lion and The Lion King? Just to start with Kimba was a series and TLK was a movie so right off the bat there is very little chance of confusion and they don’t really compete for the same market.
