People are constantly saying that Brink is a mix of two well known titles of their choice, but that is not true. Brink is just the peak of the evolution of Enemy Territory games, the first Enemy Territory game is older than most of the popular shooter franchises of today.

Perhaps Nintendo wants to jump over the hard drive era. I have no problem with this as long as they keep increasing the amount of the flash memory as the console gets older and cheaper.

Just what I was thinking, defensive sniping in Tribes was not nuisance, and it took real skill.

I have only bought one strategy guide and that was for the Diablo 2. The guide told me that one particular Paladin aura was great, so I spent my skillpoints on that aura. Then when I was playing with other people, everyone kept telling me to switch that piece of shit aura to another one.

Not just in the UK, it is free in other parts of the EU as well.

My thoughts exactly, heavily scripted military shooters with all their gorgeous explosions are boring and feel fake as hell. The old games like Rainbox Six and Swat were ten times more exciting shooters than the modern military shooters that are more like 80's action movies.

Once Nintendo starts talking about their next-gen console, Sony and Microsoft will jump into the bandwagon. They all know how important it is to be first in the next-gen market.

I hate it when video game bosses say that their systems are for the adults. I am willing to bet that lot of the adult content for the PSP and Playstation 3 ends up in the hands of young boys, without kids, Sony could not compete with Microsoft and Nintendo.

That is so obvious that I never thought about that myself. Just think about all the possible moral choices that the player would have to make. Burn this planet and kill all its inhabitants? Yes/No/I want to interrogate this heretic again.

The main reason why I am buying Brink is the objective based gameplay that Splash Damage has kept improving over 10 years ever since the release of the Enemy Territory. Considering that I still want to play the old Enemy Territory sometimes, I think that Brink will have that same lasting power. I doubt that I will be

With Eve-Online there is always the promise of the future. When I was eagerly waiting for the Eve-Online to be released in 2001, I though that it would be possible to control bases in the planets and walk in the station within few years after the release, had I known that it would take about 10 years to implement some

No, Cyber Sub-Zero is a character in the game.

Sadly the Wii version is still one of the best Wii games.

Good news. People who were born in 1997 are soon old enough to buy this game.

Jagged Alliance for 3DS, do it.

I hope that their version of Tribes is closer to Tribes 1 and Tribes 2 Classic. What many people forget is that even Tribes 2 was not initially received that well by the community. Many veteran Tribes players hated the slower skiing speed of Tribes 2.

I wonder if the destructive environments are part of the next gen this time.

I first read the title as "Mother Brain something" without seeing the word Metroid. Weird.

There are way too many multiplayer games nowadays. Had they put some of their resources and development time into multiplayer Deus Ex, the singleplayer game would have suffered. And that is not OK in my book.

That D2 picture actually looks more like D3 than these prototype pictures.
