@Nexus6: It's been a long wait.

What? Too late? How does earlier release make your game suck less? It was released too early if anything, if it gets mixed reviews, the game obviously needs more work. If the game would be coming out now, imagine the hype. Why would anyone want to buy a game that is tied to theater release of the movie, before seeing

Customizable player classes and armor packs? Sounds more like Tribes (1998), and Tribes 2 (2001). All these new FPS-games are still light-years behind of those two games, netcode, size of the maps, community features, scripts etc... Gameplay wise there are no new games that give me the same euphoria of minediscing a

@XtaLarge: Reach is not Tribes, with Tribes I mean a fast game with skiing, jetpacks, and projectile weapons; vehicles are not necessary.

Bring back Tribes.

@Gargus: I agree, in fact I had already forgotten that Fear 2 existed at all until I saw this page.

Metroid Prime games had better art direction. Samus looks like a cheap toy in these pictures.

@lostbizzo: Yeah that was kinda embarrassing when it happened to me twice last night when I was watching a live stream from the game.

@KevTehNev: I wish they would have done the same thing with Tribes, but no, every developer wanted to re-invent the franchise, and now it's dead.

@Sir-Lucius does anything for Dethklok: I'm fan of the original game as well, and I have bothered to find out all the available information from the game. And quite frankly, none of that looks alarming to me. Health regeneration? Good idea, and nothing that could game like Deus Ex which was great game because of it's

@Jarerex: So you basically know nothing about the game, and you can already say that you won't be buying it? Yeah right.

@Chubz: You think Blizzard would release a game that is a snorefest? :) You are definitely going to see new locations in the game, and gameplay made mechanics have changed.

@Chubz: I could write long list of game sequels that were ruined because the developers wanted to make 'make something different'.

Shinji Mikami has never liked Playstation, but during times like these I would not rule out PS3 port.

Both Starcraft and Diablo 2 were announced many years before the release.

This game will be lot of fun in multiplayer.

At some point the temptation of being the first company to release the next-gen console will become too hard to resist for one of these companies. I'm guessing the first announcement will come in 2011.

I have no time to bleed.

@McGreed: The biggest misconception of Quake is that it can't be teambased game, there's probably equal amount of teamplay in organized Quake 3 Team Deathmatch matches than in any other more "realistic shooter". I personally play MW2 because it's fun, and too much realism in games kills all the fun. Completely

@Eulatos: But majority of people enjoy Quake type of games, and there is nothing wrong with that. You can't beat Quake formula with slower gameplay, tactics, and forced teamplay because that results in more boring games.
