As a Brazilian-American, I would like to point out one rather glaring misrepresentation in this article: The term "preto" is NOT the equivalent of the N-word. The American equivalent of "preto" would simply be "black". "Negro" would be the equivalent of someone in the US being referred to as "African-American".

People whitening their skin has nothing to do with Neymar's hair. Artificially coloring hair and artificially coloring skin are not comparable. Skin doesn't grow back at a regular rate.
