Why is im@s 2 getting all of this publicity on Kotaku now of all times? o_O The ps3 release was in November last year, and the 360 one was way before that. It confused the crap out of me when i saw import preview on the title because I thought there was a third game coming out already that I didn't hear of and needed

Probably a good thing im@s cindarella girls isn't stateside, or i'd be broke as hell. I probably wouldn't mind the DLC costs so much if the USD to JPY conversion rate didn't drop like crazy in the last several years, or if they just took my credit card without me going through a 3rd party to get points (I have a

the licensing costs alone for the high profile voice actresses in japanese is going to be prohibitive, and you KNOW rerecording them is going to drop sales from 1000 copies to 10.

I bought a 2nd PS3 to play this title (for some reason, i decided to keep my fat PS3 on 3.41, even though all of my jailbroken titles are just my purchases ripped to a hard drive, starting to regret the purchase now. Literally haven't had time to play my bought titles, so pirating titles is out of the question, damn

Jazz Jackrabbit and the christmas edition had so much platforming and shooting fun, and Jazz Jackrabbit 2 featured a splitscreen multiplayer cooperative mode that burned sooooo much of my time with friends. Definitely a series I have fond memories of.

wah nobody voted for PartedMagic with me :(

VOTE: Parted Magic

We should expand this post and make a list of things we hate about every company. And then we can write about people we hate, sites we hate, and all be the strongest haters. Hell, why don't we just travel back in time and be time haters like in that Dave Chappelle skit. We should just boycott all the companies and all

there's a lot of games where it certainly feels like you need a specific control scheme, but you can't count out touchscreens :D I can't play fighting games without a stick, can't play FPS without a keyboard and mouse (competitively at least?). didn't know hipsters were the ones saying touchscreens don't count as

did they leave the original seiyuu cast out, or just not rerecord it? In a lot of cases (look up Koihime Musou's localization by MangaGamer), if there's some high profile names or an agency or somebody not completely no-name involved, it takes licensing fees and stuff just to get the original recordings out for usage

if you go see him live at any of his performances, he looks like the HAPPIEST man alive. I saw him play in his new band Earthbound Papas at Oni-con in galveston last year, and he was so excited to be playing, smiling and laughing the entire time. I don't think anything the guy writes can be bad if he enjoys what he

the one near my house was always selling off its used games, but since i was in a primarily rich white suburban neighborhood, there were always gems in the used ps2 games for like, $7-10 a piece, and usually buy one get one free. I picked up probably 10-12 games like that, things like Wizardry, Suikoden III, Shadow

it felt to me like starcraft was the only game that didn't have to deal with that crap until sc2 came out (from what friends told me, WC3 was considered a whole separate group because of play style), but i would think it's normal for shooters and fighting games and all genres to keep updating.

I think instead of pulling titles and worrying about security of their system, they should probably be wondering why they keep putting out handhelds that plays mostly ports and remakes for the first two years. I'd shell out some money for a Vita right now if I had more than one title I'm looking forward to, and

I forgot about emulators, i haven't played on emulators since about when ePSXe hit 1.6.0.

AMEN BROTHER, BEMANIIIIIIII

i'm guessing its a general round number they came up with after adding together operation/utility costs and loss from opportunity cost from potential other things they could be doing with those resources. like a garbage large number

i bought an ipad during black friday for $280 refurb to play music games, mostly the bemani offerings: reflec beat, jubeat, and the american version jukebeat. I can say the ipad is probably one of the single handedly best investments I've made for a "gaming system" in the last few years just because of those titles

you won't regret it, it's actually pretty damn fun on this side of the bridge. Only problem is if you like PC gaming, or your workplace/school/etc. is extremely reliant on specific features of specific products that can't be run on Wine API or something, but it's really easy now to get both worlds.

anybody who played Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 back in the day would remember the highlight reels after you beat the game, and the one I remember the most as a kid as the rodney mullen reel. that dude is just so talented at what he does it's ridiculous. Overshot kickflip -> darkslide -> overshot kickflip was too sick.
