I am very versed in 3d animation thanks. word dropping "3d rendering" doesn't make you sound very knowledgeable yourself, rendering has more to do with complexity of a scene than the models themselves or their skeletons. anyway... The playable female characters from previous games were not gender neutral animations.

what??? go get some coffee...take a walk, then reply.

and hitler was half jewish, doesn't make you credible.

its not the same set of animations, do you know how 3d animation is done? you know how to rig a skeletal structure? virtual bones. The animations from liberation are likely not compatible at all with the new assassin skeleton, which looks to be more nuanced and complex than any that came before, yes that includes

you cant just take the animation set from a random npc and say "DONE WOMENZ IN GAME!" you have to carefully craft them, in the case of this game likely MOTION CAPTURE most of them. this is the next gen iteration of the series as well. you are not thinking about the actual effort involved, you just want to keep this

let me ask you something, has there been a single game where the protagonist was an ACTUAL HISTORICAL FIGURE? she might be in the game, representing the assassin order, just not the player character. and as for the "too hard to animate" boo hoo so what theme you are going for, IT IS A WHOLE DIFFERENT PIPELINE OF

well the LAST one was, but the one before it no. lol

that kind of thinking is a slippery slope into racism and sexism. yeah white male privilege exists, dont make it worse by demonizing white males.

Maybe they are tired of the harassment. Seriously i respect the topic and would love to play a female assassin, but the last few days have been really annoying, and the responses they had towards the topic were well and justified. I feel bad for ubisoft pr having to retread ground over and over only to be met with

I'm excited about it, i didn't play the last 2 zelda's, not for any particular reason, just haven't bought them yet. but this is still rather exciting. The game looks gorgeous, and i can see its inspirations clearly, Skyrim lacked the utility i love in zelda, and zelda lacked the exploration i love in skyrim. and both

well you are always playing the "legendary hero" but the "hero of time" is unique to 2 games and influenced 2 others.

probably just things that could explode anyway with a bomb. If its truly a next gen zelda they will have to play up the utility in the open world a bit more.

I got that too, especially in the erratic movements of the automaton. Its gait reminded me very much of the corrupted boar spirit.
This made me so hopeful i teared up a bit. I wonder if its an homage to Miyazaki retiring.

Dont forget the rape! :D tingle gets raped!

no....REALLY?

wow, really? that got stars?
nobody has made a game like zelda that was open world in formula, not even darksiders2. The utility items and navigation puzzles are the challenge to a true open world. And there isnt really anything wrong with a multi hub setup.

To counter...see halflife 3 yet?

open world games tend to stream most of the visual elements so i think that just because its open world doesn't really mean its going to take up more processing power. the witcher 2 was streaming interiors the whole time you were playing, notice how fast or nonexistent loading screens are?

Im betting on this game being comfortable. im scared because im not in a position to upgrade. Im fine having it look the same as witcher 2. lol
