I wouldn’t be surprised if people find that 8gb is still fine under certain conditions or tweaks. But yeah time to consider a new build if your stuff is that old. I went ryzen + 16gb in 2017 and it already feels like time. It sneaks up on you. I think a 5-6 year cycle of bargain hunting and planning is the way to go.

Not defending crunch, but both of those games are bad examples. Supergiants games are extremely manageable and they have prior success meaning they can coast a bit better. Monolith has incredible resources and I still don't believe them when they say no overtime happened. I would bet money they crunched and it was

I legit think the MMA world may have a tiny part to play in his depression. He was viciously mocked for a long time for no good reason other than being a traditional martial artist with a kids show background. Percieved emasculation plays a huge part in the mental health of men in the combat sport world. I hope that

It was my understanding that Hungary in the middle ages was a contested land at many times and drew alot of settlement and influence from nearby Mediterranean countries, but I never said they were not white. Just that they would have had a unique ethnic character. Europe as its depicted in fiction almost never is

Moorish traders and Sicilian mercenaries were definitely seen in the markets of 11th century Brittain. Plenty of Hungarian peoples and people of west Asian steppe descent were common throughout as well as Jews and gypsies, which might have had more of their unique ethnic character prior to being integrated. I get this point, but I think he is absolutely right. The game was full of serenity and life in its open world, but very little about the characters themselves felt alive. I think it could have used an injection of humanity, and I mean raw flawed humanity. Last of us 2 got crucified for some of its depictions of

Thats why he was testing it for leaks and clogs before implementing it. Copper handles adhesion really well, I have done it myself a few times, you can actually *fuse it pretty easy with sandpaper and a blowtorch because it’s melting point is reasonable to achieve, not a perfect fuse but a strong grip.

He doesn't understand how heat transfer or plumbing works. Ignore him, it should work, you just need to be capable of doing it or spend alot of time in the education phase. It's not like some property of physics was violated, copper conducts heat very well and you can solder a water tight seal. Simple but difficult.

Its easier to cool and for the actual practical surface area it becomes a more usable space, not only that but the cooler he built was tucked in the back and runs better and quieter than the base ps4, that's one hell of an achievement aesthetically.

I would be interested mainly in older direct x titles that are notoriously hard to get working. Like dungeon siege 1-2.

Discord is alot like a forum if you use the search tools. Not a bad place for a creative community. So many great modding discords

Here is what is interesting....

The exploration got a bit better. Lots of hidden loot and cool scenes you can stumble on. Still needs work tho

Anthem was breaking people's consoles, had nearly nothing to do, and nobody praised its story. Cyberpunk was just unfinished and slow

I liked it’s interpretation. Spending time in vr really let’s you i on alot of people’s mentality towards gaming and internet in general.. alot of people are just in it for the loneliness and the ability to self express in a non judgemental way, it’s not perfect but it captured alot of what I saw back in ps-home,

There are numerous recomplilations out there at this point. In a few years the mods will be here and we will see new button mappings, new huds entirely, new inputs such as mouse aim/joystick shoulder camera, and more importantly, new stories and zones to explore.

It was a clean room approach. It's all documented. Every function.

I think for me pushing past nostalgia, it's one of the best structured game worlds with so many ideas executed very well. Especially for its time, but even lasting. The early 3d age was full of ambition, but alot of those games were horrible to play, ocarina of time feels amazing still, has amazing atmosphere and

Silence isn't lack of transparency, especially if there are good reasons to be silent...say a global pandemic
