One reason why textbooks have increased in cost is because they also will prepare lectures, quizzes, homework and tests. As long as the instructor can read a day ahead, they should be able to ‘teach’ the course.

I work in administration, and I agree with this. Universities & Colleges have a lot of fat that should be trimmed.
