I don’t consider myself progressive, but I get a strong whiff of racism from Eternals. And it isn’t that all Eternals were white either. The Eternals/Deviants conflict reads a lot like Aryan Nation fiction, and I think that’s baked into the work. Take it out, and you may as well build something new.
