Absolutely agree. All of these awards (not just Grammy’s, also Oscars, Golden Globes, etc.) are given way too much credence. This is art. If you like it, that should be enough.

How is the kid being hurt by this? And does it compare, in any way, to the pain he’s received being raised by junkies?

When I was a kid, an elderly couple from Denmark had my family over for dinner and they made Ebelskivers for us, with whipped cream mixed with walnuts. That was a magical moment, and I make them for my kids now (though, for some tragic reason, they don’t like walnuts).
