X and Y kinda changed the shiny game for me, since chain fishing, on a good day of constant trying, could get me up to 4 shinies a day, but its still fun to get them anyways. i remember telling a friend about chain fishing and after she got the hang of it, gave me her shiny clauncher for a shiny skrelp.

Black2White2 had DLC in a sense with having to buy the dream radar to get alt legendary and dream world legendaries. so ya... too late.
