This could all be happening on an alternate Earth, maybe an echo left over from the big Daleks move the planets around episode. Maybe the fact that it's an echo is why people can't die - they are all 'written' in the original, and can't be deleted - only changed around a bit.

Might be "aging" but he can still pile up the bad guys like cordwood - even if he gets a bit winded doing it.

That's not "young, cocky, just-got-the-ring" Hal Jordan - that's "older, wiser, understands-just-how-serious-it-is Hal Jordan.

Cooked carrots I have no real use for - love them raw & ice cold.

It can be hard to make out anything interesting in an X-Ray if your not trained. I don't see much myself, but I'm an idiot.

This is the problem AND beauty of movie series' with time travel. It's hard to keep dates and facts all correct, but you DON'T need to. Just like in Terminator, time travelers change the past, causing events to unfold in ways that have different details - some big, some small. You always end up with the same basic

Rats............

Oh, we can make it, but nobody's water tastes as good as stolen Earth water. Trust us, we know.

I think bring back Russel and Spader would have been a great nod to the original movie in an alternate reality episode. Perfect for that, but stick to the new actors - they have made the characters, and as long as they want to play them, let them.

Thanks. I don't mind if movies change storylines some - it's not like a comic book. But they have to do it good.

I enjoyed it (2D as well). Didn't stay for the credits, but on ride home mentioned to my wife that Sinestro still has the yellow ring, all he has to do is have a reason to put it on and LIKE it.

I saw Dr Sam Beckett on SyFy just the other day - but for some reason he was wearing a uniform with an 'Enterprise' patch on it.

My first thought on seeing the topic was "Larry Niven".

Yeah, but the ball was a lot more fun! :)

How about the alien beach ball creature from Dark Star?
