@tande04: Isn't that a Windows phone though?
@tande04: Isn't that a Windows phone though?
@Bryanv2: Resistance is futile.
@iSee: ROTFL! I have an old "Razor" around here some where. I win!
@archercc: Yes I agree. HTC makes a much better phone! (I have a Nexus one)
@JakeMG: 1..2..3....NOT IT!: Excellent choice. I actually had my Ipod stolen from me in the airport and since then replaced it with a Kindle. Heck I can listen to music on it or my phone.
@battra92: I would have to agree with the group here my friend. I do like the feel of a good book in my hands but I have hundreds of books and not a lot of room and yet I can put quite a bit more than that on my Kindle and have them all with me. Plus with eBooks I can re-read the book anytime and any where I want…
@MT: I am going to have to go with chuhlman on this one. I have almost no books on my Kindle that I got through Amazon. I purchased them from other sources and then converted the formats if needed.
@JeremytheIndian: I would semi agree although I have most books that I want in mobi format. If not I can get it in epub and convert it using Calibre (mentioned in the other post). As for textbooks, I think Amazon has a huge textbook section (most of which are cheaper then the school itself) and I can find a lot of…
First off let me say I recently purchased a new WiFi Kindle for myself and I will never go back :) it was one of the best items I've purchases. I read more because of it. Secondly while I am sure those headphones sound great I'll stick with my Bose, I can't see having to FINANCE headphones.
@Adam Pash: Instead of FTP to the phone you can use the App "Web Sharing" it sets up a GUI via the browser for file manipulation.
@olugbam: *seconded* If you want cloud based or music you can get from anywhere look into Subsonic or Home Pipe or Orb.
So maybe you can explain to me how this is better than ISyncer WiFi? It looks like it does the same things and I have to have full blown desktop client not just something that is a listener. Also every time I've used double twist I end up with issues.
@pickthenimp1: Excellent, this looks good and I'd like to see how it works... and since I no longer have an IPhone it's a little hard. :)
It has potential. I wonder about the security though for sharing without setting up an account.
@pickthenimp1: So is there an android version of this?
@OmegaVader: I don't think I could have said it better myself.
@android: You can get PICPUSH and it will automatically send your photos to Picasa and you can pick the folders.
@Pickaxe: I like that one out of the two...it's better at least. Maybe we should write our own?
@Pickaxe: You are right too. If you find something, let me know.
@Groo8: Actually they don't have to install it for you to get the referral. So you can refer yourself, then have multiple 2gig accounts plus the one large one the referrals came from.
