@Oranges w/ Cheese has 2 cats! ahahaha.: Actually it's cheaper than that w/T-Mobile. Also in the comments elsewhere you had posted you have unlimited minutes, do you use that many? Maybe cut back per minute and add more to the data plan?
@Hemi Weingarten [Fooducate]: Well thank you. If you need development help let us know.. there are many talented developers here at Lifehacker. I'd love to help test it when you come out w/it.
@hemi3: What about an Android version or something similar?
@cletar: No, not pork but an incredible pork substitute. Almost can't tell can you?
@Zuzax: Where are you at that you're "surrounded" by lots of great BBQ. I can picture one of four areas. Two of which I have lived or do live ;)
@Stingers: No no, it does. The issue started when on the last trip I took a ton of photos with my phone and didn't have a cable. I couldn't create a little ad-hoc network with the laptop and the phone. So I tried to get them both on the hotel WiFi and that didn't work either.
What I would like is a tether option that doesn't use my Nexus One data plan but will allow me to connect to a wifi network for example. I'm in a hotel and I want my phone and my laptop on the same WiFi network. Any suggestions? Also are any of these apps faster than the default FRYO tethering?
@Ajh: Very true. I know that with roll over and Internet usage being it's own entity now, that quite a few people just don't even track minutes. Heck some company ONLY offer an unlimited plan.
@styfle: There is no plural of the word backward.
You do know that "backwards" is not a word. The correct term is backward.
@jthatch: Tell Me also does quite a bit of other features, but now that they are part of BING... I guess that will all go away too.
@Oranges w/ Cheese has 2 cats! ahahaha.: Yes, but most people have unlimited minutes.
I am surprised you didn't mention dial-2-do... heck it's even built in with Lifehacker RSS feeds and comes with the new Jawbone headsets.
@infmom: That has to be one of the funniest comments I've read in a long time.
@AndiC: I would gladly pay 10-15$ bucks a year for it. They could for example use a pricing structure where the single user browser is free and multiple browser is a different fee.
I have two older IPhones... both need restored but they are up for sale if any one needs one ...but they are 3G.
@ShakespeareGeek: I must say I am in the same boat; Gmail, IPhone, Exchange.
@jonny6pak: Yes but in some countries it is legal as such the warning is sufficient.
@urbanturban666: ROTFL
