This is like... so old. People have been doing this since before I was born. I personally think it's disgusting, but some people like to eat their fries with mayo. My mom has a friend that eats only peanut butter on his hot dogs.

I'm still playing, still having fun. There might not be 7 years of content to fuel it, but it's pretty much on par with where WoW was in BC. The raids have interesting mechanics, and the new one (Denova) is sufficiently difficult on nightmare. I like the flashpoints a hell of a lot more than I ever did the instances

The developers don't leave features out intentionally, and people need to stop thinking this. The publishers force them to release the games before they're ready.

Here's what I've learned (straight from BioWare) about the endings.

So... your problem with Mass Effect is that it's not Kurt Vonnegut?

I think that's pretty much the difference between those of us who were satisfied, and those who were not. We saw the entire third game as the end, and so we saw all of our choices come to their conclusion within that 20-30 hour experience.

Um, the incident you're talking about was never confirmed to be from Patrick Weekes, indeed he denied ever posting that. And it wasn't Casey Hudson alone in that post, Mac Walters was supposedly in that room as well.

Oh my god, I thought I was the only one.

I'm fairly certain that the reason SWG failed was because MMOs were still an underground thing back then, and everyone wanted to be playing EverQuest. Then WoW came out, and it was all over.

EA did the same thing to UO to try and 'save' it as well. They 'saved' it by moving it toward the gear-based progression that now dominates the MMO market, and is one of the sole reasons for its stagnation and lack of innovation.

Goddamn, his voice is so sexy.

I made it a minute through that. I tried, I really did, but it just grates on my ears. They're totally cute, though.

Now playing

My favourite dancing in any video game ever.

I thought the exact same thing. The disappointment was soul crushing.

I love it, and I would totally use it. I like the reverse colour scheme, the sticks are very snazzy, and shiny buttons!

Wow. That seriously looks like the doodles I drew all over everything in junior high. I like the new single, but that video is... I don't even know.

I actually agree with this. I didn't like 1 and 2, but I also wasn't a big fan of 6. 3 was actually really enjoyable, full of darkness and anger.

All anyone needs to do is update Ultima Online for this generation, and people would crap their pants. You want a sandbox MMO? The first MMO ever was a sandbox MMO, and yet everyone went ahead and copied EverQuest's base model instead. I never understood that choice.

They should look at the first MMO, and subsequently first MMO with player housing, Ultima Online. UO as it was in 1997 is still more fun than the current generation of MMOs, and I say that as someone who has loved the genre from the beginning and has played most western MMOs on the market (and some eastern). I still

I have a scar on the palm of my right hand from the first Mario Party and that goddamn joystick.
