The Witcher 2 felt closer to Wheel of Time than ASoIaF to me.

The Night's Watch are the Grey Wardens. The game was heavily influenced by A Song of Ice and Fire, and it's very evident. They wanted to do "dark fantasy" and the biggest name in dark fantasy is GRRM.
House Lannister:
You wanna play Game of Thrones the RPG? Play Dragon Age: Origins. It's pretty much ripped from the pages of GRRM's series.
I've been a loyal customer of McDonald's for two decades. The only reason they exist is because of me. But every time I tell them they should give me free food, or make different meals available to me, they ignore me. HOLD THE WALLET!
As a girl who has been playing RPGs since the early 90s... I will continue to remember that Dragon Age II happened because it wasn't a terrible game. It wasn't the greatest, it was rushed, but it wasn't bad, and it was a hell of a lot better than a lot of other shit I've played.
I'm so tired of the mob. The feedback BioWare got for DA:O was "The combat sucks/The graphics suck/My Warden has no voice/The story is cliche and boring." So they attempted to fix that, and people told them the entire game sucked. They need to stop listening to their fans because their fans are fucking idiots, and…
(S)He doesn't die in all of the endings.
My husband had a lot of moments like this after his father passed away. We were only 20 at the time, we had no idea what the hell we were doing. We had to comb through everything for the lawyer, we learned a lot about his dad. He was a very reclusive man, and it was hard to get close to him. There were a lot of tears…
That movie was amazing. But it wasn't amazing for me in the same way that it was for the academy, I think. That shit was comedy gold, my husband and I were crying with laughter.
That language is pretty uncalled for.
Except Jessica Merizan confirmed that the galaxy does not blow up, and your squad does not starve to death. You can also get a reunion with your squad in some endings.
I had the exact same experience. I was used to seeing them die, and then this one guy comes in and just.. I don't even know what the hell he was doing, but he'd charge a brute, and blow up a bunch of times, and the brute would be dead. This was on silver. I started following him around to get assist points, and to res…
I'm going to play the crap out of this. Geth Infiltrator? Hell. Yes.
Everything is made better by Nic Cage. Thank you.
It is pretty tacky, I was surprised.
I don't know who this is, and I'm so confused by what this is supposed to be about. A little girl acting like a brat? I'm... shocked?
What... what did I just watch?
It was satisfying to me. I wasn't sacrificing myself for Garrus and Joker, I was doing it for all life, organic and synthetic, present and future. The ending made me sad, but also hopeful for the future. A future free of the Reapers and their guidance toward oblivion.
