You must have not been around on the BioWare forums when those games were released. People weren't as angry as they are now, but they did say they sucked, and then used older games of BioWare's as examples of how great ME and DA:O could have been. You can't please fanboys because fanboys are irrational.

Yeah, I don't know how they can't see how entitled and childish they're making themselves out to be. They get so offended when anyone uses those words, but there's honestly no other way to describe it.

I wouldn't eat a cupcake someone gave me in anger, I'd throw it out. Instead of throwing them out, they gave them to some kids and probably made their entire weeks. This is not a bad thing, and you're being overly dramatic.
The entire third game is the end, people like to gloss over this. The choices you made throughout the series come to their conclusions during the entire game. Also, the endings in the other 2 games gave you 2 choices that didn't ultimately matter.
