The torque band of most diesels is pretty narrow. The narrower the RPM band in operation, the more you can tune for fuel efficiency. Diesels are very happy to run at a set speed, and stay very close to that. Leave their happy place and they start gobbling fuel or running very lean, both of which are an emissions

Few cars age well, particularly from the age of emissions and excess :D

6th gear: Total Crack Pipe. I guess the 22-mpg highway on a good day 5.7L V8 didn't quite project the right image as president. I seem to recall he was driving some sort of hybrid for a while. Then when he became president, he upgraded to something GM built to look like a caddy, designed on a Kodiak medium truck

Compared to some of the places I have been, it is. The roads appear to have at least been graded and graveled, perhaps even paved and sanded/salted! I bet if someone is murdered, the police at least show up, even if it is to just get their palms greased. They appear to have electrical utility poles, which means there

Emissions control was to blame. That, and not wanting to require premium fuel, thereby necessitating a lower compression ratio. Horsepower is just a pretty number though, Torque is what gets the work done.

When i was younger I was on a few on details where shit went bad, it gets hectic very quick. They didn't give the Lada enough of an out, but I suspect in their country its easier to pay off a few officials or drop 2 or 3 k on someone to buy their silence. I got out of that industry and went IT, best decision I ever

Looks like an Executive/VIP protection detail leaving a breach/incident. Tactics that aggressive are usually frowned upon in most developed countries. The older vehicles on the road combined with someone experienced with pushing vehicles correctly (without disabling their own) kinda gives it away. The white Lada

The Slow-Blow one gets me every time.

I see a lot of cars that contain Lucas electrical parts -_-

Particularly if your weapon is a Sten MKI. I own one that was a DEWAT, then became a Registered MG and repaired. The damn thing cant go through a complete mag without an FTF. And its not broke, that's just how it was.

The pros carry two weapons. The Sten was known for jamming when combined with crappy WWII era mass produced ammo and the known magazine flaws. The sten used a clone of the mp44 magazine, to make it possible to utilized captured components. The lips on the magazine would spread, causing the ammo to feed at the wrong

Hence the joke. Useless badges.

RVs... Please, this is a high end event. There is no RV parking. RVs are what poors and common people overnight in. However, Motor Coaches will be welcome in designated areas for a nightly fee.

Single Cam Pushrod

RVs wont be allowed near the track. Only Poors have RVs. Luxury Motorcoach parking will probably be available in the 300-400/night range.

Step 1) Billionaire!

You are on Giz/crosspost Steve, I don't think that would be an apropos analogy.

Now playing

I too would like the military option to be averted. Quite frankly, its rather clear that is Iran's decision. They are too busy dick waving to notice that this would end badly. It reminds me of the Iraqi information minister.

Coastal water makes it hard, but the US submarines have a serious advantage. Time. The Iranian boats will have to surface eventually to recharge and breathe air. When they do, it is no challenge to hear the bang of diesel engines starting up in the middle of nowhere, a new random contact. They investigate and then
