I got nibbled!

Some vehicles speak to me. Not in the "Burn the Unbelievers" kinda way, but more when I drive them, I feel a connection. I like vehicles that have character, that are more than just a box to go from A to B. The list of vehicles that do this for me are short.

Total, undeniable, unquestionable, unyielding destruction of anything and everything you hold dear. Humanity's own undoing, on each, 24 chariots that carry the end of the world. And we have 18 of them.

I think its hard to show up a good old fashioned BUFF Showing off its loadout options...

Mid-air refueling.

That's more a function of how large the dual engined, 64 foot long, 75,000lb F-14 Tomcat is, more than how small the F-16 is.

Hah. About 2 dozen of these sitting in the junkyard here, and each and every one of them chugs white smoke like its going out of style. Most of them are in the 100-140k miles range.

*hugs his 300C SRT8*

The truck will probably be red lane at the auction, and get bought by a salvage yard. If a dealer does end up with it, at that price point the entire interior will probably get junked and a junkyard wreck's interior put in it.

The new 6.4 will blow 0% opacity all day long, thanks to its DPF (diesel particulate filter). Unless the DPF 'falls off' and a tuner is 'accidentally' plugged in...

I should have clarified. I am not saying they CANT do the job, I am saying its going to basically destroy the way the industry works currently. Whole new cab designs will have to be made, drivers retrained, and facilities redone to accommodate the new vehicles.

If it were the euro transit, recreate your whole adventure but do this instead:

That same old crap allowed standardization, and an economy of common parts built on the standard rail width of the big chassis cab vehicles.

Boy I hope not. All those standard width boxes fitted for van-cab ambulances my brothers' company owns are going to have to be disposed of and redesigned. Pulling a 14,000lb outfitted box with a small euro-diesel or turbo-gasser at american highway speeds might be... scary.

Aptera was not in bankruptcy. They shut down operations. They didn't have any creditors, and the investors may have ordered the destruction of all hardware with non patent technology to prevent dissemination of their research.

It may be possible that the units were destroyed to prevent liability and protect IP for future use.

I don't really consider the LX based Challenger, Magnum, and Charger to be screw-ups. The fact of the matter is they could never be like their namesakes. Modern safety, emission, and fuel economy laws have neutered our dreams and memories. Honestly, have you ever DRIVEN an old challenger or charger? Personally, I

Turbocharged to within an inch of its life, lighter wheels that fit wider UHP tires, better brakes, stiffer suspension, and a standard transmission. Slap on a minor bodykit.

I think i know the REAL truth as to how this started...

Totally Agree, on a side note though:
