Owning it is only step one. It has a voracious appetite for money once you DO own it. Insuring it is a bit absurd, and currently is $3100 every 6 months. I have been running Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar tires, and it eats them alive. 2100 bucks for a full set of those. My particular car has also recently developed

Videos like this make me smile.

I recently saw a 300C SRT8 with a carbon fiber hood. Apparently, the aluminum stock (on SRT8 cars) wasn't light enough. Those few ounces (fine, I'll be generous, 10lbs) will REALLY make the difference on the 4300lb lead sled.

Very rarely do i think something should be outlawed, but HIDs that retrofit into an existing headlight assembly made for incandescent bulbs should at the very least result in a significant ticket. My little town here in Tennessee recently started issuing 100 dollar fix-its, and require the vehicle submit to a free

Well, the 2011 3 series BMWs have...

That engine is so close to the one in my SRT that i am surprised it would be much work to put it in. Thinking about it, i am willing to bet its mostly ECU and some engine mounts (if that).

The rental 300 is not the same as the retail 300C. The interior is decontented and made with hard plastics instead of softtouch materials like the C series.

He died as he lived, with a car up his ass.

Looks like the tide was creating a current in the channel, which explains the strange propwash. It does look like the red ship IS moving, albeit quite slowly. That may be from the imge taker moving under way though. Clearly, both vessels are empty (look at the water line).

I find the lack of homebrew fuel injection disturbing.

For the few budget driving situations where a Miata isn't the answer, the Scout is!

I did it!

My 1964 international harvester scout has a mega-squirt feeding its 152 cubic inch inline 4 :P

Thats not a Car-B-Que, THIS is a Car-B-Que:

I'm going to vote for my Ford/Rotunda E4OD Transmission specialty tool set. I have rebuilt about 10 E4OD/4R100 transmissions, but I cannot imagine this tool kit being found in any but the most dedicated of shadetree mechanics shops.

I have Prius Repellent on a sticker over the exhaust pipe of my 1964 International Scout. Its catless as well. Ironically, it runs on e100 or e85 or e15 thanks to its megasquirt fuel injection setup.

Its a heavy car, not that much fun to drive. It pushes all over and feels dull and lifeless to me when you push it to the limit. It sits between my 300C SRT8 and my RS4. When I want to go very VERY fast I drive the RS4. When I want to go fast and make noise the SRT8 has more character from a driving standpoint.
