I find it to be really distracting, but I'm trying to give it a decent trial run before turning it off. I'm really surprised this wasn't incrementally introduced as a Labs feature before going mainstream.
Nice feature, but I'm disappointed that I still can't embed Google Voice's "Call Me" widget in the signature.
LH editors: How about doing a feature comparison of the Kindle/Aldiko/Kobo/Ibis reader apps?
Unfortunately, Google doesn't make it easy to upload a PDF attachment from Gmail to Google Docs without first downloading a local copy of the file.

Google oughta provide an easy way to do this directly from a spreadsheet in Google Docs.

Is it cool if I drop my referral code here in the comments? Use this link to set up a Dropbox account and we both get an extra 250 Mb: [www.dropbox.com]

I'm hesitant to give my Google credentials to any app that's not officially released by Google. Sites like these seem a bit phishy to me.
@Dr.Jeckyl: Thanks, Doc! I've long wondered about that.
If you root your Android phone, what happens when Google releases an OS update? Do you have to re-root to the last Cyanogen build or do you automatically get the incremental updates?
@mclifford82: I gave out my Google Voice invites too quickly and 2 of teh three haven't been used by the people I sent them to.
I'm sorry, LH editors, but the gallery layout format is really awful for this type of content. Can you put it to the readers, by way of a poll, to figure out if anyone actually prefers the gallery layout? I suspect I am in the overwhelming majority. What do others think? #tips
@Chris Raimondi: Not necessarily. I'm a big fan of almost all Google products, but I've never cared for iGoogle. Just don't see the point really.
Lots of good recommendations for extensions listed here in the comments, but I believe the point of Gina's feature is that you can accomplish much of those chrome-minimizing results without the added heft of add-ons.
