You know what? We worked our fucking asses off to get here. I’m tired of hearing that Texas doesn’t care, or that we’re a write-off red state.  We did something incredible. We’re still doing it now.

I’ll celebrate him IN MY PANTS.

i live in texas, and work on campus at a library that was recently added as a polling place. it’s been so heartening to see all these kids lined up to vote. it’s the last year that you can vote straight ticket on the ballot. so i really hope that things change just based on all the enthusiasm beto has been able to

*HEL-EL-EL-O*

my eyes hurt from reading Twitter updates too quickly and also from side eyeing Brian Kemp’s bullshit.

That first story made me tear up.

MeOW ;)

My friend’s water broke this morning but she stopped to vote on the way to the hospital. Her daughter is going to be fierce as fuck!

Yes, but to Kemp, it will be ok.....Shit happens....it’s the way it goes...not his fault..nope.

He should be disqualified for running the election he is actively campaigning in.

My whole life I was a Republican. A few years ago I became an Independent. Today I went to polls and voted straight party Democrat, something I once did not think I would ever even consider. I don’t think I’m alone, if the Twitter hashtag #GOPvotingblue has anything to say about it. Someone has to stop these people.

Someone posted on my Facebook that it was like waiting on a group project grade- I know I did my shit right, so I’m just sitting here hoping everyone else did their fucking part.

Counterpoint: I like voting on election day. I like the camaraderie, I don’t mind the lines. PLUS the sweet old ladies at the Historical Society are usually running a bake sale.

Just call him John. Don't mention "Gore" or "Goretooth." Stick with John. It would drive him nuts.

Y’all Queda?

Bravo! Also, if you’re feeling down, here are some inspiring words Tweeted out by an American hero yesterday...

That pun was at the top of its clast.

When reached for comment Brian Kemp confirmed he has opened an investigation into the Democratic Party of Georgia to get to the bottom of this.

I live in Dallas and this campaign has been such a nail biter. Beto’s campaign has been ON TOP OF THEIR SHIT. Constant texts and emails, constant calls to action, to donate, to volunteer. It’s been pretty exciting to hear pretty much everyone around me say they voted and are all a part of the blue wave. Here’s hoping

It is ignorance that leads him to believe that he’s insulated/unaffected, but his position that he doesn’t need to do anything because he’s insulated/unaffected (accurate or not) is absolutely privilege.

It can be shocking to realize how much you take for granted as an American citizen. Let me check that, a naturally-born American citizen. Growing up with my brother, who’s a DACA recipient, you learn to appreciate all the rights and privileges afforded to you as a citizen.
