Rainy.  (at least here in Houston)

Something I look forward to SO MUCH now is that the DNC has no choice but to fund democrat campaigns in 2020 and beyond.  NO CHOICE.  They’ve got to do it, because we showed that the victory is within striking distance.  And hey, who knows, maybe when the DNC actually acknowledges that Texas isn’t a write-off, it

I’m . . . I’m a little sad that Ed Emmett lost. He was the one Republican in office that I didn’t feel was a complete chode. Happy for Lucy Hildago! But sort of sad about Ed Emmett. (Although part of that is because I would use Ed Emmett as an excuse when anyone would accuse me of voting blindly for Democrats. “Not

I saw Beto speak at a small bar outside of Houston over a year ago. At the time, all I knew of him was that he was running instead of Julian Castro, and I was pretty annoyed about that.

You don’t know what a beer coozie is?

Also I’m in Texas 22, and can we for a second pause and celebrate this absolute stud I voted for?  He speaks six languages!

My husband’s rough camping all week and has very little cell coverage and I am so, so jealous of that right now.

How are y’all feeling? I feel like I’m a 2. Like, basically just a ball of nervous energy and sick dread, and my eyes hurt from reading Twitter updates too quickly and also from side eyeing Brian Kemp’s bullshit.

If Brian Kemp wins this, it’ll be because he outright stole it.  I heard earlier from someone on twitter that had been at her polling location since 7:45, and NONE of the machines were working.

But TOO many calls/texts? I’ve also heard a lot of campaigning from some people that they get texted too often and that it’s turned them off.

I think this is correct, yes.  Julian for POTUS 2020, Joaquin for Cornyn’s seat.  Man, their mom must be one hell of a woman to raise kids like that!

Goretooth can get fucked, and if I ever run into him in person, I’ll tell him the same.  Get the fuck out of here with that attitude, Gore.  Come on . . . Gore.

I think that’s the joke, though. Eleanor’s mom has desperately clung to her youth all her life, which is part of the reason she’s been such a crappy mom to Eleanor. It’s only now that she’s starting to embrace her age that she’s investing in her (new) child and making connections with other people her age.

I like to think it’s a thematic choice - as she gets healthier, she has less need to disassociate from the situation and imagine herself singing/dancing.

That’s them!  (Why do I know this?  Maybe they were on a Louis Theroux thing?)  I read not long ago that they’ve disavowed their upbringing.  (Or maybe I’m getting them confused with that one chick from Westboro Baptist Church who left)

That’s Joaquin Castro’s election.  He and Beto struck a deal.

I was just telling someone this. In my neighborhood (mostly white, upper middle class, suburbs), no one had boo to say about Ted Cruz until Beto signs started going up. Then it was “where can I get a Ted Cruz sign for my yard, don’t california my texas, hardee har har” all over the neighborhood facebook page.

Plus THE LAST HOLIDAY is objectively great, and a balm for one’s soul at all times.

That girl could be doing so many better things with her life, such as absolutely crushing it cosplaying Felicity at some WB/CW aficionado con.

Actually, I believe he’s a registered Democrat.  He’s just one who knows how to play to his base.
