I wish they would add a battery monitor, especially for the Shuffle. A lot of the time, I'm plugging in my Shuffle just to charge it. It would be really nice to know when it is all charged up.

That's what I was thinking, they'll be here just in time to be wiped out a second time.

On a related note, I've thought for a long time that NASA could have done a much better job monitoring Earth for very practical reasons. For example, monitoring and explaining global weather or monitoring Earth's resources and working with different governments to help craft policies for dealing with a changing world.

Still, you have to be aware that the value you put on living in the country is offset by the harm you are doing to the environment by that extra driving everyday. Even if you are driving a high mileage car, you are making a decision to create more pollution.
