this movie has everything that makes me love spiderman, and i cannot recommend it enough. my kids loved it too. the artwork/animation is sick.

yes, i read that piece too! i think the problem is whatever platform you might be viewing on netflix, its recommendations and layout is never the same, and you actually sometimes dig and find those movies just like the ringer article mentions.

the night comes for us was straight-up the most visceral action flick i’ve seen in a while (the last one where i probably whooped and even cringed was the man from no where). i’ve been trying to convince my co-workers to watch it.

i avoided most of these movies largely because i grew up watching the originals and i just don’t think it’s worth tarnishing my memories of how good i thought they were vs. their modern reboot which is basically a cash grab.
