HALLOWEDPOINTS

hey, hey! the whalers were the only good thing we ever had in CT!!

if it were leto, he would’ve forced them to aim their piss on the third rail.

Now playing

or you could’ve just paid the rights to blare “brass bonanza” in memory of the hartford whalers!

i watched a few seasons when it originally aired but then stopped probably because i just missed a few weeks and that was that. i’ve started re-watching it all on netflix during my commutes and i’m close to finishing S3.

totally agreed with his art, which is why i made the distinction saying peter in the suit. i think his style with drawing people, combined with the colors, just didn’t look that great. but he drew an awesome spiderman.

i watched a bunch of spiderman cartoons when i was younger (spiderman and his amazing friends!) but i didn’t delve into comics until the 90's right when todd macfarlane ended his run on amazing and started spiderman. a lot of my love for the character had to do with macfarlane’s drawing style when peter was in the

i read probably more than half of those events at the time. the wolverine one was ridiculous only because he was still doing the same thing with his bone claws that he did with his adamantium claws. and i think they took artistic liberties to basically remove his nose so he’d look like some sort of feral cave man.

the exchange between jimmy and kim on the top of the parking lot. just fucking incredible acting by both people.

grew up in CT. the whalers were the only good thing about that state. it’s nice they’re bringing these back, but damn. i was sad when they left.

ah, i remember those from grade school in connecticut. but i also didn’t like them personally.

just convert them to crash bandicoot racing or team sonic racing karts.

i just finished watching s1 and s2 of the good place.

then it would be consistent with all the marvel extinction level events in the comics.

i was just thinking about this the other day because i started binge-watching the good place. great show, super funny. danson is excellent. but i wondered if people even remember or are aware of that incident while he dated whoopi goldberg.

my wife has been cooking more oxtail using the instapot. the funny thing is as good as it tastes freshly made, it’s even better day 2 when all its contents is sitting overnight in the juices/broth. i think she usually gets the oxtail pieces from costco.

i know it’s only one episode in but am i the only person that thought this it was absolutely boring? last season was alright. you’re introduced to the mutant underground, the kids developing their powers, etc...

this looks realllly fucking good. i just texted my wife this recipe link and we’re going to have to put our skillet to use.

Minnesota Timberwolves: Bring Us Your Weary and Broken

09/14/18, although it’s called the “brolic whiskey blog” so i don’t know how reliable they are.

i think i used to lean more towards TDK, but i probably enjoy both equally. 2 definitely has the benefit of ledger’s performance and the movie longer to set up a lot of the scenes (essentially a huge cat/mouse scenario), but yeah, i think they’re both equally entertaining with their own strengths and weaknesses.
