it looks nice, but i don’t think it’s significantly that different, especially if you look it from the back. there is still a lot going on there.

was it cruz during the replay who said something to the effect of “the knee didn’t hit him...well, maybe it hit a little bit” which is a ridiculous thing to say.
i guess the power of nostalgia has its limits. i saw them once in urbana-champaign when they rolled through during the melloncolie tour. they were actually kinda boring live. i don’t know if the venue was too big or what, but i didn’t nearly enjoy that show as much as i wanted to.
i can’t remember who wrote/said it, but it went like “if it’s got more than 5 ingredients listed, don’t eat it.” it’s amazing how much food we consume is processed to hell and back.
dogdevil, the woman without a social life?
it looks like he’s not heaving it as much? but there is that one long-range jumper (1:12) where it looked like his stroke starts at his face which didn’t look so good.

smaland beckons.
i loved this movie as a kid, and sometimes when it’s on tv i might catch a few scenes and it’s still entertaining for what it was. i mean, a lot of burton movies have a level of campiness to them and this certainly was a prime example.
i just don’t know if it’s even worth attempting to look forward to something like this, even if it’s 3/4 of the original lineup. everything up to pisces was pretty much awesome. at the time of its release, i thought melloncolie was good, but i don’t think it’s aged well. and i never bothered with anything after except…
i thought the tide/old spice crossover was the best.
when is santa clara diet coming back, if ever?
grew up in CT watching ronnie francis and kevin dineen. yes, you could claim allegiance to the sox, celts or pats being a part of new england, but the whalers belonged to CT and it was all we had.
i just started re-watching breaking bad on netflix for the hell of it. that moment in s2 where jesse and walt had him in front of a ditch trying to save badger and saul started screaming out all these random names of who he thought was putting them up to this.
i, too, was denied my pop culture moment with guns ‘n roses as well but it was not related to physical copies of music. i actually got a dubbed copy of APD on from a friend of mine in either 5th or 6th grade that i listened to relentlessly until i bought my own copy on my own. BUT! when gnr rolled through connecticut…
