Google’s reverse image search is even worse now. Instead of giving me real results, it gives me sketchy as hell links for the vast majority of the times I use it.

Websites and online businesses have always tried to optimize their keywords and content for what Google wants to see, or what they THINK Google wants to see.

I rely entirely now on the grocery store in my town where you scan as you shop. That’s the best system, imo. Grab a scanner as you walk in the door, then hit the aisles. I pick up an item, scan it, and put it in my reusable bag. When I’m done, I wheel my cart up to the kiosk, scan the barcode, and my order pops up on…

That distinction isn’t lost on me, but it is lost on plenty of the types of people I’m criticising here. Even though I prefer self-checkout for myself, I recognize the value of the labor cashiers put in.
