I’m getting this whole “Woody Allen v. Mia Farrow” feeling just without the whole molesting narrative. Given her history of crazy moments and his admitting to drinking heavily, I’m not sure we’ll ever get the complete, correct narrative and we’re not entitled to it either. 

It took me a couple of reads through before I got that. Man, the quality of the writing on the most basic level around here has really tanked. Any editor worth their salt flags that sentence for being confusing. 

What do these words mean? I clicked, and it turns out she got a job on a series on the ABC network. But ... “Neve Campbell has officially moved onto ABC checks following her turn in the Scream franchise.” [Italics added by a confused reader] Huh? 

Well, in all fairness, that suggestion could apply to just about every Jezebel article...

If you never see the message, then why does it matter?

That may not be reliable. If the highlight is 95% opaque, the screenshot will still have the 5% that the info can be extracted from. That’s why they recommend the rectangle tool or something else that is 100% opaque.

I don’t know how many people commenting use iOS, or if the blogger who wrote this does, but it’s so easy to take a screenshot on an iphone that I often do it just by accident when I pick up my phone.
