It’s safe for kids because they’ll just add their friends on miitomo(since literally your only options are twitter, facebook, and soon by email). Not that big of a deal. If there’s a question they don’t want to answer? they can skip it.

Doubt you’d be okay with your 15-year-old getting a tattoo. All the reasons why are the problems it indicates. In general kids who are “doing the right thing and going somewhere” don’t have tattoos in 9-10th grade.

I think it has to do more with the fact that the rapid proliferation of the digital age has given everyone a soap box to stand on (and the notion that their opinion deserves to be heard).
