I did this with a Lynel in some snow area that I ran into and used an ancient arrow on it by mistake when it was almost defeated and it disappeared. No loot. I needed those hooves and guts to upgrade my armor dammit.

It was a Lynel for me. That one above Zora’s Domain where you have to fetch the shock arrows? My rusty swords and tree branches back down from no one.

Yeah I didn’t think it was hard at all; I liked that it was something different. On the other hand, the worst mission for me (so far) was squaring off against the Lynel above Zora’s Domain for the shock arrows. Not knowing I could’ve just stealthily picked them off the trees, and not actually have to fight and beat…

Ha! So I wasn’t the only one who used the net instead of the sword there.

Ah yes. I also had a similar ‘Aha, I didn’t have to fight/beat him’ moment. With a Lynel. -After- I beat it. After I had used all of my fairies, and food medlies. And nearly all of my weapons and shields broken. By the end I was nearly slapping it with the one fish I had left.

I used Amazon to preorder Zelda. I started to worry because my copy was ‘preparing for shipment’ until late afternoon yesterday. They ended up shipping it UPS next day air.(!) Is that unusual? Seems wasteful for something I preordered back in January.  

I thought these were new? I just found out about them from the commercial. And whenever I’ve tried to buy them in the last week they’ve been sold out.
