Yay, replicators for all! Tea, earl grey, hot.

Cut him some slack, he's an engineer.

And, well you know, the Force.

How about open source whatever it is you do for a living, too?

Apples newly announced services are for K-12, not Higher Ed. Completely different system and business model.

Yes, already being done by several publishers in the Higher Ed realm, including note cards, flashcards, quizzing, and assessment. Apple's announcements today are K-12 books where those things aren't as prevalent, not Higher Ed books.

These are K-12 books, NOT Higher Ed books. The announcement today had nothing to do with Higher Ed.

Wrong. This is a K-12 initiative. Pearson, McGraw Hill are hemorrhaging money in their K-12 divisions and see this as a new revenue stream possibility. This is not for Higher Ed. Even iTunesU is VERY limited in the Higher Ed world, and this is bringing it to more K-12 sources.

This is targeted at K12, not Higher Ed. Totally different markets.

This is clearly targeted at K-12, and not Higher Ed. Why when people see "textbook" do people assume higher ed textbooks?

    Ah, of course.

Right, and what so YOU drive again?

Late 90's? No, 2005. The 99-04 was the "New Edge" styling, and hardly retro. So it hasn't been around as long a you think.

My dad bought one of these brand new back then. I vaguely remember riding around in it as a kid. But outside of the few Polaroid pictures left, I don't really remember it. Now his 70 Mach1 and his Torino GT I both remember well because when my sister and I rode in the back seat we couldn't hear each other talk.

You haven't heard only because you're not a 2011-12 Mustang GT owner. Once you drop a lot of money on something, you pay closer attention to the details. They are some of the first and most often threads you will see on any Mustang forum. And I'm well aware of how engines and brakes should sound and act, thanks.

That's nice of them, but I wouldn't be surprised if they went back with it came to dollars. Did you know the Super Snake Shelby GT500 is sold with its warranty voided by Ford brand new? Gotta really watch them now. I used to feel that if I was loyal to them, they would be loyal to me. But I've learned they really

Honestly, I don't know anyone with a GT500 who HASN'T taken it to the track at least once. And I'm a member of several Mustang communities, so I know several of them.

FRPP or Rousch have their OWN warranties, but it is clear that the Ford Factory warranty gets voided. Read again, or ask your dealer for warranty service after getting a Rouschcharger installed. Even the FRPP tuner package states FRPP is a separate company and warranty aside from FoMoCo.

engine ticking noises and valve issues since day 1 of the coyote. See any Mustang forum and search "tick". Several replaced engines, many ongoing issues reported from owners but never an official recall or positive TSB. Ford mostly tells people it is a normal characteristic of the engine to have ticks and pings

Yes, 4 Mustangs, a '70 torinoGT, '66 Fairlane 500 (my first car), and several trucks and every day cars. My grandfather retired from Ford, so I get the employee Z plan which takes several thousand off the new purchase price for me.
