@Rattleface Blouses: I guess you didn't know there was a production line delay of several weeks which affected 2011 Mustang delivery to dealers in August. We'll see how those September numbers look when Mustangs were actually showing up on lots.

They designed a stupid clutch pedal assembly for the new 5.0 to make it easier to push. They're just replacing with the GT500 pedal, which is what it should have had in the first place. Apparently, all the new ones from the factory now are getting the GT500 pedal now.

@Real Tomsk of Genius: I've seen both at local dealers here and they seem to move pretty fast. The colors they have out front keep changing almost daily.

Dads '70 mach 1. Or dads '70 Torino GT. The first memories I remember as a child was standing in the engine compartment of his Mustang while he was rebuilding the engine. I also remember riding in the back seat of the Torino unable to hear anything but the roar of the straight pipes.

@Scandinavian Flick: Hey Flick, I bought my 2 year old daughter a really cool car seat for my '11 Mustang GT. One of the very first things she said in the new car was, "faster daddy, faster". Aah, how that warmed my heart to hear. :)

My first car was a '66 Fairlane 500. It was white with a straight exhaust coming from the headers of the 390 that was crammed into it. It was loud like this car and went like crazy in a straight line, but was scary as crap to take a turn at even 35 MPH.

@TheRage: See what they have to say about the engine knock on all the 5.0 engines that were held up at the factory for 2 weeks. I doubt they have a straight answer for that either.
