The abuse of GTS by Porsche is sad, but this ass clownery with M by BMW is obscene. What's next? Mercedes arrives with the AMG Hollywood Edition?

Sadly, the world as of 2012 will never know "What Apple would do?" but it will be the click fodder of blog-vertisers for years to come.
I hope they sent that guy a free car — that's their best marketing effort to date and he handed it to them on a platter.
I'd wear that refusal as a badge of honor.
"Threw the bags down the sewer drain" ... ah yes ... the old "threw the large plastic bags of cocaine down the sewer drain" trick. Would you believe "threw the broken bag down the sewer"? Would you believe "tied up the broken bag and stored it all away for safe keeping then washed off my hands with rain water and…
On Android, yes. : )
This list of "features" tells me I'm not interested in Mountain Lion — it's not much more than a minor set of feature bloatware.
I think Apple may have hit some development setbacks and missed a deadline. Surely they could have had an Ivy Bridge offering. I'm looking for lots of cores and blistering speed, not just a USB card and expensive Thunderbolt cables and external enclosures.
Oh no! A used car dealer behaving like an unscrupulous ass hat! How can this happen? Shocking.
I think Apple knows its competition exists in the form of Asus and Vizio, Samsung and other new entrants into the trivially named ultrabook age of the laptop. I'm pleased to see the same emphasis on functional design reflected in desktop products, too.
I agree with the logic — I think AAPL is unscrupulous to offer 'rigged' configurations and gouge for ssd space. It's an obvious scam that was annoying in the original 'titanium' and they should have gone to honest pricing long ago.
I wonder what was in the mind of the $75K+ factory toy racer to be one week on the track, with all the vendor stickers and driving far beyond his skill or the preparation of the car? Surely the "BOSS" doesn't arrive with poor quality brakes or fluid, so it's entirely on the driver unless there was a mechanical…
"Track pads" are irrelevant (and often run hotter than factory stock or "street" pads) so the only issue is proper driving. Unless the fluid is old or poorly maintained, it will give ample warning of fade (as noted) so again, it's the driver, the not the car, it's the singer, not the song.
Cool, but not exactly chic.
The crowd all leapt to their feet at once. All seven of 'em.
Just needs a high speed cam with motion detect ... continuous loop that overwrites itself until it detects the motion of the drop, then copies the loop to storage.
tastytrade1 posted a great series documenting the history of Apple and Steve Jobs.
The AeroPress is messy, slow and produces only a small to medium sized cup of coffee. It's also made of plastic — hardly the best thing to be drinking water that was boiling in a plastic container.
The Galaxy Nexus is great — in short, if you spend 10 - 20 minutes with a Google phone like the G-Nexus, it quite likely will win you over. After you're browsing and reading gmail on the gPhone, when you pick up the iPhone, it's just crazy how small the screen looks. When I got the iPhone 4, I thought the display…
Certainly looks better than a Panamera, but it's an Audi ... and drives like all Audis in the last couple of model year cycles. And this one is insanely heavy (heavy=no fun.) And resale will be a pig. Very expensive motoring in total cost and just another in a long many years of unremarkable Audis (yes, including…
